PERFORMING NEW SONGS WITH A TWIST!
The Sweeties can perform to high-quality backing tracks, with a full live band (5-8 piece) and also acappella (without music, just voices). The Sweeties play at private parties, corporate events, festivals, military balls, weddings and pub/clubs; past clients include Help for Heroes, Brittany Ferries, Tesco, Goodwood Revival, The Princes Trust, Bromley Council, Whiteley Retirement Village, Premiere Care Group, Royal British Legions and ex-Service Men’s clubs.
The Sweeties have a range of costumes to suit all events, from vintage military uniforms to petticoated dresses to nautical themed dresses. The show is fully choreographed and can take the form of a theatre style performance, a fully interactive show with audience participation or background entertainment to either high quality backing tracks, with a full backing band or singing.
*They can provide full PA and stage lighting and offer sets with either high quality backing tracks or with a full band, and they can perform a cappella. They are all full time performers and professional Musician Union members. They have an 800w RCF system but can hire in a larger rig if necessary. They have stage lighting and star cloth background. London based but are happy to travel within the UK and abroad for gigs.
"The Sweeties were fantastic! They performed for us on the back of a vintage lorry outside the station and were great at engaging with the public - they even stepped down to dance with them! All the music was very well received by all ages, from the authentic 1940s songs, to the retro take of some more up to date tunes. It was evident on social media that people had travelled large distances just to see them. I hope they are still available so I can book them for next year!" Alistair Page - South Devon Railway Trust, July 2015
“Your outfits are really awesome and I loved the way you came out with the sweet boxes as if it was an old cinema. It though it was really fun with the dancing and harmonies and it totally works. Everyone said you sounded incredible! We all really enjoyed it and think you girls are fab!” Helen Godfrey - corporate client, Feb 2016
“Your singing is ace! I particularly loved the song Saturday Night at the Movies. My colleagues were so impressed! You were easy and professional to work with –please thank the other singers for a very successful evening.” Pete Morris - Corporate client, Jan 2016
