WARTIME SHOW FEATURING THE VERSATILE RACHAEL.
Rachael is a real life Forces Sweetheart who has travelled the UK and Germany entertaining the troops at British Army and RAF bases. She is also a well-respected performer for The Royal British Legion and received an award for five years service to her local branch of the military charity. Two years ago, Rachael, and guitarist Ashleigh Wood, penned 'These Little Things', as song about a letter from home, in tribute to the military and their families and it's received much air play on local radio.
In her Wartime Sweethearts Show, Rachael dons Forties Fashions and takes her audience back to when rations were tight but spirit was in abundance.
With singalong songs such as "Roll Out The Barrell", "Kiss Me Goodnight Sgt. Major", "Hang Out The Washing On The Siegfried Line", jitterbugging tunes like " Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", "In The Mood" and "Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree" and classic standards such as "We'll Meet Again", " The White Cliffs Of Dover", "Over The Rainbow" and "I'll Be Seeing You", you'll be transported back to the Forties with an evening full of nostalgia.
