Jamie is a great guitarist and vocalist.
Jamie has been singing professionally for over 15 years in highly regarded venues all over the world, from The Ritz and Claridges in London, to The Burj in Dubai, having worked as a soloist, and in bands ranging from duos right up to 12 piece party bands, his repertoire is very wide and he has a versatile voice to match. He can sing with backing tracks for a great live party experience, with piano, for a classic chilled out background vibe, or with acoustic guitar for the perfect reception background music, singalong, or even wandering troubadour touch. All in all, Jamie can provide a range of different entertainments not only to suit your needs but to cover most bases for an entire day’s performing if required.
Jamie started as an actor, with roles in various TV programs and films, including a 4 year stint on “Holby City” and pretending to be Russian on the side of a submarine in the Bond film “The World is Not Enough”. He then moved on to the stage, appearing in “Othello”, “The Wiz”, “Little Shop of Horrors” and many other shows. During one of these shows he was asked to sing with an originals band who he also wrote for, enjoying a couple of TV appearances before they disbanded.
Jamie also writes shows, most recently having written “Speed Dating the Musical” which was well received at The Jermyn Street Theatre in London’s West End. He also writes children’s songs, most notably for a couple of touring shows starring CBeebies’ Andy Day
